Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician to join our team at United Hearts Inc in Richmond, Virginia. The Clinician will provide direct crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, using evidence-based practices to stabilize clients and provide support and referral as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and risks, using appropriate screening tools and diagnostic criteria.
· Develop and implement crisis intervention plans, using evidence-based practices and client-centered approaches.
· Provide crisis stabilization services to clients, including de-escalation, crisis counseling, and supportive interventions.
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
· Provide consultation and education to community partners regarding crisis intervention and mental health services.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
· Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
· Licensed or license-eligible as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.
· 2+ years of experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling.
· Strong knowledge of crisis intervention best practices, including suicide prevention and de-escalation techniques.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with community partners.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
