Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified mental health professional (QMHP) to join our team. The QMHP will work directly with individuals experiencing mental health crises, providing assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term treatment to help stabilize and manage symptoms.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct mental health assessments and crisis intervention services for individuals experiencing mental health crises
· Develop and implement short-term treatment plans that address immediate mental health needs and promote stabilization
· Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, medical providers, and community resources to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services
· Provide support, education, and advocacy to individuals and their families/caregivers
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in a mental health-related field (counseling, social work, psychology, etc.) from an accredited institution
· Licensure as a QMHP in the state of Virginia
· Experience providing crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals with mental health diagnoses
· Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices for individuals with mental health diagnoses
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, and community resources
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
